Edit a PDF online in your browser
Local PDF Editor is an online PDF editor that runs entirely in your browser. Edit a PDF with no software to install and no account: add text, annotations, shapes and images, and manage the document pages. For supported fragments it changes the original PDF text, not just an overlay.
Unlike many online tools, your file is never uploaded to a server — all PDF editing happens locally on your device, keeping your documents private. It is a convenient way to quickly edit a PDF straight in the browser. Editing itself is free; only downloading the finished file is paid.
What you can do
Add and edit text
Add multiline text and change its style. For supported single-line fragments, the editor tries to modify the original PDF object.
Draw and highlight
Add your own text, draw freehand and highlight important parts of the document.
Shapes and arrows
Add lines, arrows, rectangles, ellipses and dimension lines with color and thickness options.
Insert an image into a PDF
Draw a visual signature in a dedicated dialog, or insert, move, resize, and rotate a PNG/JPG image. A visual signature is not a digital signature.
Pages, view and history
Reorder, duplicate, rotate, add and delete pages. Use thumbnails and Undo/Redo history.
Document templates
Start without a file of your own: a CV, invoice or application with ready content to swap, or a blank A4 page.
Local PDF processing
The file is loaded, edited and built in your browser. The payment backend does not receive the PDF.

Frequently asked questions
Can it edit every piece of existing PDF text?
No. Direct editing is limited to supported standalone, single-line text objects and characters available in the original font. Some other fragments use a visual replacement. The application has no OCR, and scans or text converted to outlines cannot be edited directly.
Is my PDF uploaded to a server?
No. The PDF is processed locally. During payment, the finished file waits in browser storage. The payment API and Stripe process transaction data, but they do not receive the PDF.
How much does downloading cost?
Editing the document is free. Downloading the edited PDF costs 5 PLN including VAT; the amount is shown before you proceed to payment.
Does whiteout remove sensitive data?
No. Whiteout and visual replacement cover content, but the source data may remain searchable or recoverable. They are not data-redaction tools.
Does the editor create digital signatures?
No. You can draw a visual signature or insert its PNG/JPG image, but the app does not create or verify digital or electronic signatures.
Is this PDF editor free?
Editing a PDF in the browser is free and needs no account — you can add text, annotations, shapes and images and change pages at no cost. Downloading the finished file costs 5 PLN including VAT.
How do I add text to a PDF?
Load the PDF, pick the Text tool and click where you want the text on the page. Type your content (Enter adds a new line, Ctrl+Enter confirms), then set the color, size and bold or italic style. For supported fragments you can also use the edit tool to change existing document text.
How do I rotate, add or delete a page in a PDF?
The toolbar has buttons to rotate the current page left or right, add a blank page after it, and delete a page. Every change can be undone (Ctrl+Z) and redone (Ctrl+Y) before you download the document.
Can I edit a scanned PDF?
A scanned PDF is an image, so its original text cannot be edited directly — the app has no OCR. You can still place your own text, annotations, shapes and images on top of the scan and cover parts of it with whiteout.
Do I need to install software or create an account?
No. The PDF editor runs entirely online in your browser — no software or plugins to install and no sign-up. Just open the page and load a file; editing happens locally on your device.
