Pen and translucent highlighter

The pen uses an opaque color, while the highlighter uses transparency so it does not hide the content. You can adjust both stroke widths, then select, move or remove an entire stroke.

Lines, arrows, shapes and dimensions

Simple geometric tools make it easier to point to a specific element. Rectangles and ellipses can have a fill, while the dimension tool adds a line with its length shown in millimeters.

Frequently asked questions

Does whiteout permanently remove PDF text?

No. A white box only hides the content visually. Data underneath may remain in the file structure, so this is not secure redaction.

Can I undo drawing and shape changes?

Yes. Use Undo/Redo or the Ctrl+Z and Ctrl+Y shortcuts before downloading the document.
